AFTER SCHOOL CLASSES: POLICIES
REGISTRATION & PAYMENT
Payment is due at the time of registration. Complete registrations will be processed in the order they are received.
Payment plans are available if needed.
Contact an After School Coordinator at afterschoolclasses@vanhisepto.org to arrange a payment plan.
Late payments will be assessed a $10 late fee. Any returned checks are the responsibility of the payer. New registrations will not be accepted if there is an outstanding payment due for a past session.
REFUND
POLICY
A full refund will be given if you withdraw on or before the registration deadline. A 50% refund will be given up until 1 week before your class start date; after that time, no refund will be issued.

STUDENT PICK-UP/LATE PICK-UP POLICY
It is the responsibility of each family to arrange for the prompt pick-up of the child at the conclusion of each class (2:50 pm Monday; 4:25 pm Tuesday-Thursday). Please be on time. More than two occurrences of late pick up may result in your child’s dismissal from the class without refund. We encourage you to make arrangements with parents of other children in the class in the event that you are running late.
SCHOLARSHIPS

Full and partial scholarships are available to families, no questions asked. Scholarships can be requested by contacting an after school coordinator (After School Coordinator), or by communicating with the instructor of the after school class.
CANCELLATION
POLICY
All classes will be held regardless of weather, including outdoor classes, unless the school is officially closed. In the unlikely event that a class is canceled, such as when an instructor is ill and no replacement can be found, we will attempt to contact parents/guardians as early as possible. Please be sure that we always have up-to-date contact information.
If a class is canceled, we will attempt to reschedule the class. If the class is rescheduled, no refunds will be given. If the class cannot be rescheduled, the prorated cost of the class, excluding any materials fee, will be refunded.
FOOD
ALLERGIES
Students should bring their own nut-free snacks (following MMSD guidelines) for After School Class unless otherwise noted.
BEHAVIOR POLICY
If behavioral issues arise, the teacher reserves the right to decide if a student shall continue participating in class. This policy is being implemented because there is not support/additional staff available after school to assist in behavior management. If issues arise, parents will be contacted and refunds may be issued.
