Join us Saturday, July 14th at 6:35 for Van Hise Night at the Madison Mallards Duck Pond. Tickets are $10 (or $16 for Pepsi Tailgate Tickets). Post-game fireworks! $2 donation to the VHE PTO for each ticket purchased.

Parents & Children are invited to attend.
The PTO is sponsoring the UW-Madison Wonders of Physics Show – a fun event for parents and children. The Physics show will last approximately 60 minutes and will offer fun, engaging and educational demonstrations that will excite students and adults of all ages. The show covers a broad range of physics topics including motion, heat, light, sound, electricity and magnetism.
This event is FREE, donations gratefully accepted.
Friday, March 16th, 5:30 pm–8:00 pm in the Van Hise Cafeteria
Multicultural Night is a PTO-sponsored event devoted to celebrating the cultural diversity within our VHE community. The night includes a potluck dinner and a cultural program for the purpose of learning more about the cultural traditions and heritage of our friends and classmates.
One World, Many Cultures
5:30–6:15 pm: The International Potluck dinner!
Everybody brings a delicious dish to share (to serve 8-10 people) that represents their cultural heritage. Year after year, the variety of foods on the buffet has been a crowd pleaser!
6:15–8:00 pm: Performances
An array of talented Van Hise families and kids will delight us with Indian, Bolivian, Nepali and Native American dances, Chinese songs, African drumming, Tae Kwan Do demontrations, as well as a Japanese piano performance, and musical pieces from different countries of the world. We will close the evening with Native American dancer & storyteller, Art Shagonne.
Everyone is welcome – moms, dads, grandparents, cousins, neighbors and friends!
A fabulous fun raffle, silent auction, games, prizes and food! Join us in the Gym and Cafeteria.

Because of the weather, we are moving tonight’s Winter Snowball Dance to next Friday, Jan 27. It will be at the same time, from 6 to 8pm, in the Gym.
